HTP Claim Router
HTP Claim Router manages the re-pricing of claims before they are passed to the claims management system for adjudication. HTP Claim Router checks to see if a claim requires re-pricing and if it is to be done internally by the customer or externally by the PPO.
If external re-pricing is required, the HTP Claim Router routes the claim to the PPO in the appropriate format (X12 EDI, proprietary EDI or printable PDF file). Optionally, the PPO may manually re-price the claim online via a Web-enabled front-end. When the re-priced claim is returned, it is matched to the original claim before being passed on to the claims management system for adjudication.
Claims awaiting re-pricing may be viewed in the HTP Data Repository by authorized internal or external users. Also included are standard reports to assist with monitoring the status of pending claims files and the re-pricing performance of PPOs.
HTP Provider Portal
HTP Provider Portal enables Web-based access to claims, eligibility, plan benefit and related data contained in the HTP Data Repository.
A service-enhancing module, the HTP Provider Portal delivers to users a consistent, easy-to-use display of information for responding to member or provider inquiries. Customer service representatives serve customers without logging-on to the claims management system, or other administrative systems. This can be a significant cost savings for users of claim systems that charge on a per user seat basis. Authorized providers may also be granted access to the HTP Provider Portal to view the exact same information as your internal staff for their patients.
The HTP Provider Portal and HTP Data Repository operate independently of your claims management system. This isolates your claims system from the influx of provider claim status, eligibility and benefit plan inquiries. Claim systems have not been designed to support the high volume of transaction volume and using the HTP Provider Portal may avoid the need for costly hardware and/or software upgrades to support this activity.
Employer Portal The HTP Employer Portal supports the information access and enrollment management needs of benefit administrators, employers and employees. HTP's solution goes far beyond the basic 24x7 web access availability. We firmly believe our solution delivers a faster, effective and accurate approach to enrollment health plan administration.

All enrollment records, whether supplied via EDI (i.e., 834 transactions) or data entered via the web portal, are processed through the same workflow. Each record is retained in the HTP Date Repository and placed in a common staging area for review and approval by the health plan administrator prior to being marked as authorized for release into the health plans claims management system.
